The SOONER AMBUCS Welcome You

National AMBUCS™ Inc is a non-profit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women who are dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

SOONER AMBUCS is the Norman, Oklahoma chapter of the National AMBUCS™, Inc. Our chapter was chartered on May 29, 1990 and we have developed a reputation as a group that "gets things done." We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under IRS regulations.

AMBUCS Computer Project Update:

The SOONER AMBUCS computer project, ASK, officially shut down May 1, 2010. This was due to the end of our main grant and not being able to find any additional sources of funding for the project. The Sooner AMBUCS are proud of the fact that during the 12 years we conducted this project, we gave away over 6,000 computers to people with disabilities in the State of Oklahoma.

We want to thank all the businesses and individuals that have donated their time, money, resources, and used computers to our project.
